Push your staging site to the production site

After working on your site in staging, you can perform a push. This will take all the changes you made on your staging site, and bring them live on your Managed WordPress site.

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
  2. Next to Managed WordPress Websites, click Manage.
  3. Click the image that matches what you see in your account:
(Not what you see?)
  1. Click Settings under the site you want to use.
  2. Click the Staging tab.
  3. Select Push staging to production.
  4. If want to move content (e.g. posts, comments, pages) created in staging to production, select Overwrite content.
Warning: If you push with this option selected, any posts, comments or other content that do not exist in staging will no longer exist. Always make sure that the site you have on staging is what you want live before performing a push to production.
  5. Click OK.
  1. Click Settings under the site you want to use.
  2. Click Staging in the top green menu bar.
  3. Click Sync Sites in the top right corner of your screen.
  4. Select Push staging to production.
  5. If want to move content (e.g. posts, comments, pages) created in staging to production, select Overwrite content.
Warning: If you push with this option selected, any posts, comments or other content that do not exist in staging will no longer exist. Always make sure that the site you have on staging is what you want live before performing a push to production.
  6. Click Sync.
