Every attempt will be made to resolve the verification issue before placing a domain on temporary hold.

251 Pending Data Quality Unlock: This is the "action" status a domain goes into when the domain is verified through the RegMan interface. It will remove the data quality lock from the domain. 254 Data Quality Validation Underway:This is the "resting" status a domain goes into when GoDaddy's attempt to validate the registrant contact fails. A domain in this status will have the failed validation information sent to claims. If this occurs, customer should review (and fix if necessary) the contact information for the domain. If it appears to be correct and still fails, the customer should email ukverify@GoDaddy.com to see about getting the domain active.
255 Data Quality Registrant Contact Changed: This is the "action" status a domain goes into when the registrant contact data is changed either at GoDaddy, or at the Nominet portal. It will determine whether any of the existing failed validations still pertain to the domain. For instance, if a customer changes their phone number, all of the existing failed validations still apply. If none of the failed validations apply to the current registrant contact data, then the domain will end up back in the status it had when the validation process started. Otherwise, it will be set back to status 254 or 253, whichever applies.
256 Data Quality Verify Registrant: This is an "action" status that notifies the registry that our validation attempt on the domain has been successful. It causes the message on the WhoIs output for the domain to go away. Although we have not yet implemented this part of our process, the idea is that when a domain goes through status 252 and the registrant contact data passes validation, we will set the domain to this status.
