GoDaddy Studio Help

Add and edit an image in GoDaddy Studio

Step 3 of the Understand GoDaddy Studio and create a project series

A great image can make your design stand out. Add your own images or pick one of the thousands of professional-looking stock images available in GoDaddy Studio.

  1. Open the project you want to work on. This could be the template you chose in the previous step.
  2. In the menu at the bottom of the screen, tap Image.
  3. Scroll through the categories at the top of the screen to find a collection of images to choose from. If you tap Photos you'll be able to take a photo or choose one from your device or GoDaddy website. If you tap Unsplash or Pixabay, you'll be able to use the search box to search by theme, style or name, e.g. “birthday”, “abstract” or “trees”.
  4. Tap the image you want to add to your design.
  5. At the bottom of the screen you’ll see a menu of editing options. These include:
    • Applying a filter
    • Removing the image background
    • Adjusting exposure, contrast, saturation, warmth, fade, highlights, shadows, vignette and sharpness
    • Cropping the image to exclude certain parts
    • Resizing the image
    • Adding shadow to give depth and dimension
    • Changing the opacity (how solid or see-through the image is)
    • Rotating the image
    • Blurring the image

    • Nudging the image one pixel at a time to place it in exactly the right spot
    • Using the mask tool to remove parts of the image
    • Using the blend tool to create unique effects
  6. Tap the check mark in the top-right corner to apply your changes.
