Why am I Getting, Server Error in '/' Application.

Ok First Off, I just got my site up and running. I Was Getting the Default Page

"change future home of something quite cool"

I'm Using cPanel

I Uploaded a index.html file in the Public_html Directory.  A little understanding of the Directory Structure Would be nice

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Re: Why am I Getting, Server Error in '/' Application.

Hey there,

Based on what I'm seeing in the code you posted, you're using a Windows server config file. That will not work on a Linux based server. You most likely need to just rewrite the code so it's compatible with a Linux server.
