Purging the cache on PHP causes 100% server cpu

I have a forum running phpbb 3.2 and everytime I purge the cache, either manually or when installing an extension, it causes the server 100% and 100% memory usage which takes the forum offline for around 15 minutes

Before phpbb 3.2 I had phpbb 3.1 installed and it ran fine with no problems.

Re: Purging the cache on PHP causes 100% server cpu

Hi @xlc. It sounds like the upgrade to 3.2 may have changed the code just enough so that it may need more memory to execute those functions. You may want to consider upgrading your cPanel account's resources if this continues to be an issue.
