    GoDaddy Tech refused to Upgrade our Server

    I called the managed hosting team to upgrade our server. We have a high-traffic site that gets spikes sometimes and when we get spikes, the server halts and we get the GODADDY FIREWALL page. 

     

    "Michael" refused to help me. Said we didn't need to upgrade, negated EVERYTHING I said, and kept telling me that upgrading was "OVERKILL."  This is after two other techs told us it is time to upgrade. Now you might think Michael was trying to save us money, but he was continuously condescending and argumentative and I do NOT believe "we're okay as-is." I'm also getting daily emails saying our WHM and CPANEL are coming to "end of life" in X days. He refused to acknowledge that and said "You're fine."

    Turns out the newer server plans are cheaper - finally got a tech that explained that to me and we upgraded to a bigger, faster server, and saved our company $150/month.
