"Plugin & Theme status is unavailable due to site customizations."

This happened after the recent Wordpress update. I believe it's version 4.7.2. 

 

The problem is that I can't login to my site. The page is blank. The website is all messed up. The theme has been removed. I can't login to my wp-admin. It just is a blank page.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

You too???? Did they fix it? I'm freaking out here. My website is trash now and I'm losing money.

this is hell for me tooo did anyone get help for this man losing money and i am pissed godaddy not helping

I'm getting the same problem.... my wordpress was running fine on my godaddy Managed Wordpress hosting, but has completely stopped working in the past month or so. I spoke with support but they were no help. 

 

I'm also getting the error Plugin & Theme status is unavailable due to site customizations.

 

However, I did not have any special plugins or themes, only the default wordpress themes, so I think this is a problem on the GoDaddy side of things. I'm getting a HTTP 500 error, which is an internal server error ... so I really think this is a problem on their side. 

 

However their hosting admins keep on say that they can't help and that I would need to sign up for Premium Wordpress support to resolve this. 

 

So I now TWO websites hosted with GoDaddy and neither are working. I'm looking for a different host.

In the event that you are unable to access your WordPress dashboard due to an error, you will either need to enter your WordPress files directory to temporarily disable the plugins & themes to restore access, or you will need to contact our live support teams so our agents can disable them for you.  Once you are able to access the WordPress dashboard, you can troubleshoot the root cause of the error.
