Installation failed because Destination Folder Already Exists-trying to download WooCommerce

Ok, so I'm trying to download the Wordpress plug-in Woocommerce. I receive back that the installation failed b/c the destination folder already exists. Though I've watched several "how-to" videos on how to fix this, I don't know how to get to that initial step. I don't understand the FTP thing and how to access it. So I need someone to please dumb it down for me even more and show me how to get to that first. I feel very uncomfortable going into my WP editor and messing around with that so if we can avoid that, the better. Thank you!!!

It sounds like you're using Managed WordPress, here are the steps to connect with SFTP.

It may look scary once you're in but as long as you don't go crazy it'll be fine.  The right pane is the remote server, the folder structure works similar to that of your own computer (the left pane).  The error message should give you the location of the folder, just navigate to it in the right pane.
