Pointing an external domain to godaddy

I have been trying to link an external domain to my godaddy hosting. I have 2 of them to link. Its a .ng domain. Please i have been battling to make this work can anyone help me out with the exact steps to get this done, without referring me to look at any tutorial, because all the tutorials i have gone through seem not to be working at all.

Like break it down one by one

1. Find out what your GoDaddy nameservers are.

2. Go to your Domain Registrar and change the nameservers to your GoDaddy nameservers.

Hi, will that effect the email for that domain? I dont want to change it.

Email is handled by the MX servers.  As long as you leave the MX servers currently in place on the DNS record you should be good! 😉
